Steck Consulting is looking for a few good moms and dads.
Steck Consulting is a high-technology firm looking for responsible,
technology-minded, detail-oriented people.
We are seeking a range of skills from technical administration to
programming to data analysis. All positions require a commitment to
details; most require the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Technical Administration positions require basic familiarity with MS
Access and/or Excel and an interest in expanding skills and
responsibilities.
* Programming positions require experience programming in Perl, Ruby,
Python and/or C/C++ under Linux. Experience with Linux-based databases
(MySQL, Oracle, etc.) is a big plus. Knowledge of, or an interest in,
parallel processing is desirable, too.
* Analyst positions require strong problem-solving skills, the ability to
think outside the box, and the ability to design and implement efficient
algorithms to solve complex problems.
