JOB: HTML Coder, Rockville, Maryland, Part-Time

IQ Solutions is a health education, information and communications
company dedicated to improving people's quality of life, by providing
them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their
well-being. This is a part-time position. Currently we do not offer
part-time employees benefits. IQ Solutions is located in Rockville,
Maryland and is accessible my Metro. We will offer an hourly rate of
$15 to $20 based on level of experience.

Individuals assigned to this position are responsible for a variety of
moderately complex duties related to converting hard copy or soft copy
documents to a visible format using hypertext markup language (HTML)
and a variety of text editing programs. Individuals may also operate
word processing equipment and software to produce or maintain
high-quality documents, reports, proposals, and correspondence.
Working under general supervision and with detailed problem
specifications presented by supervisors and more senior technical
staff, individuals are expected to show judgment and initiative in
performing assigned tasks as well as to complete projects on schedule.
Work is reviewed upon completion, and errors may cause delays and
disruption of operations. Interaction with team members and other
technical staff is necessary.

The essential job function will be converting hard copy or soft copy
documents to HTML format to be imported to a client website.
Employees assigned to this position must possess a high school
diploma, including high school level reading, writing, and analytical
skills, plus applicable technical training related to task
assignments. The position requires 1 to 2 years of experience in HTML
coding using a variety of text editing programs such as Dreamweaver.
Individuals must possess expert knowledge and demonstrated ability in
HTML 4.0. Experience in Cascading Style Sheet is required and
JavaScript is highly desired. Incumbents must also possess expertise
in word processing software utilized by the client or the company
(e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including all formatting functions
essential to proper document form. Excellent knowledge of English
grammar, punctuation, and spelling is needed. Occasionally, long hours
may be required to meet deadlines. Individuals must be able to
interact well with all levels of staff.
