Web Designer (NOVA)
BUYSAFE, an online trust and safety company for e-commerce, is looking for a
full-time Web Designer to join our in-house design and marketing group.
Responsibilities include design for marketing, advertising and online
applications in a dynamic team environment. Occasional print work as well.
Ideal candidate will have 4+ years in Web design with proven XHTML/CSS
skills with strong interest in web standards and be an expert at Photoshop.
Competency in Flash/Actionscript and JavaScript.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in web design and development
- BFA or BA in Design or related field
- Expert knowledge of the latest Web technologies, cross-browser and
platform issues
- Proficiency in XHTML, CSS, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Creative Suite ,
Microsoft Word
- Competency in Flash/Actionscript, JavaScript and Microsoft Suite
- Experience with usability design and with serving as advocate for
user-centered design principles throughout an organization
- Stay current of online trends and new approaches to creating functional
and interactive websites
- Ability to collaborate on complex, cross-functional projects
- Ability to streamline production processes and prioritize tasks
- Excellent analytical, oral and written skills
