Balance Technology Group is a woman owned IT Services company located in
Springfield, Va. We dare to be a different kind of company. We seek "balanced" individuals who believe in commitment to family, work, community, and health and we pride ourselves on providing a flexible, yet challenging work environment (work from home is fine.) Our clients are in DC, Maryland and Virginia and range from small business to large non-profits.
We are in need of a freelance web designers, and web developers who can contribute 10-40 hours / week toward our client projects. We hope this will be a long term relationship.
Our Web Designer should:
* Have Excellent communication skills
* Be able to Collaborate with clients to create website designs that are progressive and sophisticated.
* Understand usability and web concepts/color palletes
* Work well in a team environment
The Web Developer or Web Generalist should:
* Have Excellent communication skills
* Be able to manipulate images in Fireworks or Photoshop (you do not need to
be a "designer")
* Ability to work with various ftp programs, hand code html, work with
Macromedia Dreamweaver, CSS, Javascript
* Understand usability and web concepts/color palletes
* Work well in a team environment
